Scoil na nÓg -St John's Pre School

In 2008 St. John's Pre School/Scoil na nÓg opened its doors in a brand new state of the art facility on the grounds of Scoil Eoin Naofa. There are three pre-school rooms for children aged three-five years. The preschool operates the ECCE scheme. It is fully equipped with its own playground and interactive whiteboards and almost every toy imaginable inside. Opening hours are from 9.10am to 12.10pm Monday to Friday during term time.

From the 2024/2025 school year St. John’s Girls’ and Infant Boys’ School have made the switch to the Hot Lunches programme.

These tasty lunches are proving to be a hit with our pupils! Our lunches are supplied by Carambola – a Limerick based company who have been in business since 2003. There is a wide selection of options available every day to suit all tastes and dietary needs. Two snacks are also provided for each pupil to eat at small break. Parents can change their child’s lunch order online as often as they like using a unique ID and password.

Please check the Carambola website www.carambola.ie  for nutritional and allergen information. We would like to extend a warm welcome to our lunch lady who has joined our school community. Our lunch lady distributes the lunches to the pupils every day. We are very grateful for all her hard work!
