Morning Arrival & Supervision

School Supervision is in place from 8.50am every morning. Pupils enter the school grounds through the Garryowen Road School Gate and school starts for all pupils at 9am. It is important that your child is at school on time for this 9am start. The school gates and porch doors are closed at 9.10am. Any child who arrives after 9.10am should be brought around to the Main Reception by their parent/guardian to ensure they enter the school safely.

While you are waiting to drop your child to school please wait in single file along the footpath by the school railing on the Garryowen Road.

Please keep the immediate area outside the gates free at all times and avoid smoking/vaping in the interest of pupil safety.

All pupils will enter the school only through the Garryowen Road gates to ensure pupil safety.

Home time Arrangements:

All classes will go home through the Garryowen Road gates.

We ask parents/guardians who are collecting at 1.40 and 2.40 to please wait in single file along the footpath by the school railing on the Garryowen Road.

Please keep the immediate area in front of the school gate free at all times and avoid smoking/vaping in the interest of pupil safety.

Parents/Guardians are reminded of their responsibility to ensure that they are at the school for hometime collection at 1.40pm or 2.40 pm. Alternatively, arrangements should be put in place regarding safe collection of your child or arrangements for your child to safely travel home from school. To avoid confusion or upset, please ensure your child is aware of who is collecting them/what hometime arrangements have been put in place.

Please be patient for the first few days in particular at collection time as extra time will be needed for teachers to become familiar with new parents/guardians.

Reporting to the School Office
